BlueScope Steel has decided to continue its IT services relationship with CSC, extending the contract for at least another four years.
CSC has been managing and delivering IT services such as consulting, applications development and support, disaster recovery, systems integration and end user services on a variety of platforms.
In a release, president and CEO of CSC Australia, Nick Wilkinson, said the US-based company was delighted to be continuing its relationship with the manufacturing organisation.
“Having worked with BlueScope to achieve significant results over the last nine years, we will continue to deliver price transparent competitive services and a robust governance model to ensure the success of the ongoing relationship,” Wilkinson said.
The steel industry has been experiencing a downturn, but a release stated that CSC would remain committed to the relationship through the difficult times. The four-year contract has an additional two two-year options.
