State of the market
- The markets have been jumpy in morning trading, first dropping sharply before moving into positive territory. At 11:42am, the S&P/ASX200 was up 12.4 points.
- The Aussie dollar is down slightly to $US0.8933. Gold has dropped by a 10 basis points to $US1119 an ounce and oil has slipped to $US78.3 a barrel.
