State of the market

  • The market headed south following poor results on Wall St. At close of trading, the ASX200 was down 41.0 points at 4827.2.
  • Way down at the start of the day, the Aussie dollar has done a remarkable job of turning things around at lunch. At 1:28pm it’s trading at $US0.9122, while Gold and Oil both dipped significantly and sat at $US1113.0 and $US77.2, respectively.
