Digistor adopts Lottenburger for 2010 strategy

Autodesk and niche media development expert to help distributor tackle new customers in 2010

Digital media specialist distributor, Digistor, has appointed Helmut Lottenburger to help develop its new Autodesk business.

Digistor was appointed an Autodesk partner in December to sell and support the vendor’s Autodesk Systems product line – a niche set of solutions that includes Autodesk Smoke Software 2010 for Mac OS X.

Lottenburger comes into a newly created role, and will have responsibility for supporting the new vendor – a major focus for the distributor in 2010, Digistor group marketing manager, Mark Richards, said.

“Lottenburger has experience in this field,” he said. “He’s a good fit for the business, because we also sell DVS CLIPSTER, which he also has experience in.”

Lottenburger comes to the company from DVS Digital Video Systems.

Late last year, Digistor’s development and expansion plans saw it open a new office within Melbourne. It also maintains offices in Sydney and Brisbane.
