D-LINK DCS-6111M

This high-resolution fixed dome network camera is an IP-based device for around-the-clock security. A Wide Dynamic Range CMOS sensor offers performance under varied light conditions and the camera also includes infrared LEDs for night vision illumination. Equipped with a Power over Ethernet (PoE) module, the unit can receive both power and data other a single Ethernet cable, allowing it to be placed away from power outlets. A built-in Samba client obviates a direct connection to a PC, hardware or software to capture and transfer video. The DCS-6111 features 3G mobile video support, enabling users to view a live video feed on a compatible 3G mobile or PDA. D-ViewCam software is included to manage up to 32 cameras simultaneously, send automated email alerts and record video to hard drives on schedule or when motion is detected. The vendor’s System-on-Chip (SoC) technology also supports simultaneous dual streaming in MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats, providing bandwidth efficiency compression formats for different situations.

This is done through bundled software and includes basic monitoring tools such as motion detection and email alerts which are sent to the user when the camera detects movement. The software also accommodates up to 16 cameras simultaneously. The TL-SC3130G’s 54Mbps wireless connectivity offers fl exible placement, while two-way audio allows users to listen in and talk to the device remotely.
