The Kingston HyperX DDR3 Dual-Channel 1.65 volt is a memory kit that contains 4GB of DDR3 RAM running at 2133MHz, made up of two 2GB sticks of memory. The DDR3 RAM kit requires compatible motherboards and is aimed at Intel Core i5 and Core i7 systems. It is also optimised for XMP, which stands for Extreme Memory Profile, and is an Inteldeveloped extension. Users will not be able to install the memory if they are using DDR2 RAM. The target market is benchmarkers and overclockers that want the fastest performance available. Kingston claims to be the first vendor to commercially sell 2133MHz memory. The component is designed to be relatively energy-efficient and operate with 1.5V of power. It is also backed by a lifetime warranty as well as free technical support. Kingston will also be shipping 8GB kits in 1333- and 1600MHz frequencies later this month.
