Aastra, a leading company at the forefront of the enterprise communications market, has appointed Anixter as Master Distribution Partner for its Australian operations.
The agreement is a “good fit” for the local operations in terms of corporate synergies and go-to-market strategy, said Anixter Marketing Manager, Daniel Sultana.

“We’ve built a strong business in the region around specialist skills in structured cabling for power and data, with a focus on communications, security and switching systems,” said Sultana. “It therefore makes sense that we partner with the leaders in these fields. Aastra will complement our existing offering and will bring strong expertise and solutions in enterprise communications solutions with feature-rich call managers, unified communications applications and mobility solutions.”

Aastra Australia Channel Manager, Jason Finlayson, said that Aastra’s portfolio of products and services perfectly complements and supports Anixter’s core product sets.
“We are delighted to have Anixter as our Master Distributor and to build on our successful relationship with them,” said Finlayson. “Anixter’s expertise will be a great asset as Aastra continues to build on its presence in Australia. With its strong financial fundamentals and product portfolio, Aastra is well positioned to leverage its existing infrastructure and growing operations to meet the needs of Australian customers and resellers.”
