Deal Bolsters Emerson Network Power’s Data Center Infrastructure Management Capabilities

<p>St. Louis – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, strengthened its data center infrastructure management portfolio with today’s official announcement of the company’s completed acquisition of Avocent Corporation. Avocent’s technologies and solutions provide additional visibility into the data center infrastructure, bolstering Emerson Network Power’s infrastructure management capabilities and ultimately giving data center managers better control of energy consumption, IT operations and costs.</p>
