Dimension Data has become an accredited Hewitt Best Employer for Australia and New Zealand.
Together with subsidiary, Express Data, the integrator successfully passed a three-stage process that took a number of months to complete.
Hewitt initially ran an employee survey, which required a score of 65 per cent or higher. Dimension Data scored 82 per cent to move on to subsequent rounds involving auditing and employee interviews.
Dimension Data Australia CEO, Steve Nola, said the integrator made a number of significant investments in its staff to ensure a happy workforce.
“It’s important to make sure there’s a high performance in the company,” he said. “Over 40 per cent of our staff have remained with the company for more than five years – it’s in making sure people come here to stay and improve their careers while here.”
Express Data and Insurance Line rounded out the first three organisations to be awarded the accreditation by Hewitt, Nola claimed. Accreditation is a yearly process.
Organisations are assessed over five categories: Employee engagement, leadership commitment to staff, employee value proposition, connecting the employees to the company and its strategy, and having a differentiated high performance culture.
