- The markets have risen higher than expected in morning trading, but not by much. At 11:13am, the S&P/ASX200 was up 27 points
- The increased market risk led to traders retreating to the USD and dropped the Aussie dollar in overnight trading. It now sells for $US0.9202. Gold is up very slightly to $US1142.2 an ounce while oil is down to $US77.5 a barrel
