IT service provider, eSavvy, will be the first company to sell the human resources and payroll solution, ERMLive, in Australia.
ERMLive’s offering is based on and integrable with the Microsoft Dynamics business platform and was developed by a New Zealand-based company with the same name.
“The formal agreement signing happened about three weeks ago,” eSavvy managing director, David Goad, said. “It was never intended to be exclusive. But talking to [ERMLive CEO, Donald Hastie] I think his focus is going to be with us for the next little while.”
eSavvy will target enterprise customers and resell the products directly to end-user companies. Goad predicted sales would do well in Australia and said a number of potential customers were already in the pipeline, but added there was no minimum sales requirement set between the reseller and the vendor.
“We’re going to be working together on selling opportunities and building the business in Australia. I think he needs a presence in NSW, where most of the market is,” Goad said.
“Don has built his business to about $6 million a year in New Zealand. So considering the relative size of Australia to New Zealand markets, I think we should be able to ensure some pretty decent growth.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if in the next year we’d make maybe $1-2 million, but I think that’s pretty conservative.”
