Business intelligence consultancy company, Logro Consulting, has joined SAP’s partner program to grow its customer reach.
According to Logro managing director, Links Chithiray, the move gives his company access to more marketing information and materials as well as potential deals. Another key reason was the resulting boost in reputation, Chithiray said.
“We’ve done a lot of tendering for work and the question comes up, ‘are you an SAP partner?’ so it gives us the recognition of being an SAP partner, that SAP acknowledges we are good at what we do and they back us up,” he said.
“We also get a lot of collateral through their program. They have a whole lot of materials and a whole lot of deals that they work on and they look for firms like ours that have special skills or qualifications or experiences in certain industries, so they can introduce us to prospective clients.”
Chithiray said demand for SAP business intelligence was continuing to rise despite the global financial crisis.
“There are still a lot of companies out there struggling to get information out of their ERP systems so they can run their businesses,” he said. “We go in and we extract information and make it available to executives.”
The joining process was a simple one aided by his relatively long operating history, Chithiray said.
“We’re expecting to at least grow by at least 20-30 per cent in the next one year but we’re not expecting this to become a source of huge growth,” he added.
