Digital World Warehouse has signed an exclusive distribution deal with specialty computer accessories maker, CaseAce Products, for A/NZ.
The distie will have exclusivity for two years and will need to sell $US85,000 of CaseAce products per year to maintain the contract.
The vendor had previously sold its GearGrip computer harnesses to Australia through a direct-to-market online portal, but A/NZ customers will now be unable to use it.
According to Digital World Warehouse managing director, Eden Fridman, the set goal will be “easy” to achieve.
“It will be available to all of our resellers, but obviously we’re going to push it into the chain stores,” he said.
While the CaseAce products are aimed at the gaming enthusiast market, Fridman said the harnesses would also appeal to business users that frequently travelled with computers.
Product training will be held for resellers in October in Sydney and Melbourne, with Brisbane a possible inclusion.
The deal comes on the back of a separate gaming distribution deal signed in mid-July.
The distie has also been expanding its national footprint, opening an office in Queensland with plans for another in Western Australia.
