Unisys has secured a $11.4 million contract with the Victorian Department of Transport to extend its recent run of government deals.
Under the six-year contract, awarded in a competitive bid in June this year, Unisys will develop and supply the new customer information application and required hardware.
This will involve advisory, architecture design, development, testing and multi-year support services, to modernise the Department of Transport’s legacy passenger information system.
The win comes on the back of a $6 million contract with the NSW police in May. Last year, the integrator was rated as a big mover for Government contracts by research firm, Intermedium.
Unisys’ other big win recently was a $25 million contract with Australian International airlines.
