Retail group looks to set itself up for the economic upswing

The organisation behind the Betta Electrical and Chandler franchises, BSR Australia, has announced a major upgrade to its IT Infrastructure.

BSR will consolidate its servers and datacentres at IT firm Brennan’s $3.3 million Queensland datacentre, in a move to look at new ways of leveraging its IBGlobal IT retail management system.

BSR group operations manager, Shane Harris, said in a statement the investment in its IT infrastructure laid the foundation stone for the future growth and stability of the group.

“We want to ensure our franchise members are given the best possible support to maximise their opportunities when the good times return,” Harris stated.

The project has been designed to increase service quality and provide greater technological stability to BSR’s 153 retailers in Australia.
