After 10 years at the helm of integrator Touchbase’s Australian operations, managing director, Andrew Fisher, has stepped down from the role.
Fisher said the decision to quit was made as a reprioritisation of personal commitments following the birth of his new child.
“Last year I spent 180 days away on travel,” he said. “It was a very difficult decision, but the travel was just too much of a burden.
“I’ll be looking to get back into IT in due time, but for now I’m not looking for anything immediately – I’ll take a holiday and then decide from there.”
Fisher’s role has not been filled yet.
“I think they’re going to consider internal options first,” he said. “I expect the role will be filled over the next two to three months.”
In the meantime, enquiries can be directed to: General manager Queensland, Matt Carroll; general manager NSW, Chris Bradnam; general manager Victoria/Western Australia, Manny Karunakar; and general manager South Australia, Nic Loc.
