New distributor to Australia, Observatory Crest, has signed its second partnership, this time with networking specialist Arista Networks.
Observatory Crest director, Martin Christmas, said the partnership was complementary to the distributor’s other vendor partner, F5 Networks.
“F5 is strong in the datacentre space, and Arista is clearly a datacentre player,” Christmas said.
“Looking at the product itself, it’s a highly competent switch, and I was impressed by the calibre of the management team.”
Previously based in New Zealand, Observatory Crest launched in Australia in January when it was appointed as the second local distributor for F5 Networks. Christmas said there were more partnerships to be announced in the coming weeks.
“We’re looking for partners that are complementary and form solutions we can offer to our reseller base,” he said.
“We’re delighted with the progress we’ve made into the market this year.”
In a release, Arista director of global channels, Mark Foss, said the increasing demand for high-speed broadband services across the region presented the vendor with an opportunity to expand its high-density product set and cloud computing delivery model to a broader audience.
“Observatory Crest can support a network of resellers with the skills and support they need to create compelling solutions for their customers with our products,” Foss said in the release.
