Adelaide software developer Graycorp has released an updated Web-enabled version of its ERP suite and launched an aggressive reseller program across the country.
The company has migrated its long-standing ERP package, Gcorp/MFG, from a DOS platform to one based on Microsoft SQL server 2000. The result, according to Byron Gray, CEO of Graycorp, is a modifiable, Web-based ERP suite designed to integrate customers, suppliers and back-office databases with the software applications.
The product has been renamed Gcorp 2000 and features three core applications including financial accounting, distribution and manufacturing. Gcorp 2000, developed over two years in conjunction with Microsoft, features an Internet Explorer 5.5 interface with a SQL server 2000 backend.
Graycorp targets manufacturing companies and is in the process of rolling out a three-tier partner program across Australia. In its top tier, the developer is recruiting service providers to offer sales, integration, training and support, followed by VARs to provide pre-sales consulting and contract negotiation. Referral partners will be used to pass on qualified leads.
