Digital World Warehouse goes to Queensland

The distributor moves into the sunshine state due to increasing demands

Digital World Warehouse is setting up shop in Queensland and has plans for further expansion in Australia.

The new office will be located in Brisbane to support resellers in the region.

Digital World Warehouse managing director, Eden Fridman, said the move was motivated by increasing demands from the state’s capital.

“About 30 per cent of our business is done there without any representation so we decided to send help there,” he said.

The Brisbane branch will start with a three staff team that will eventually grow to five. Fridman expected to set-up a fully-fledge warehouse in the location in two to three months time and add two more staff on.

He also said that there was a possibility the distributor will move into Western Australia but that will not happen until the end of the year.

It has been a good quarter for the distributor, signing on multiple vendors including Upsonic Power, Panda Security and Speedblack.
