Samsung has launched a new program to help improve engagement with a select group of business print partners.
The P3 partner program is solely for Samsung’s B2B partners, and is targeted at 150 select partners that have been identified by the vendor.
Samsung national sales manager, Greg Wallis, said the program introduced a number of new rewards and an online portal to partners who committed to set targets.
“There’s a sales incentive with marketing support for those identified partners on the program. We will reward partners with a check for reaching the sales target,” Wallis said.
“Additionally, with these key partners, we’re providing a three-year warranty at no cost, which the partner can use to achieve better margin, or alternatively add it to the value proposition.”
The partner program was launched to the channel earlier in the month. Wallis said it had already achieved significant traction.
“We’ve got 97 partners signed in Australia, and a further eight in New Zealand. Basically, everybody is signing up to this program,” he said.
The commitment of partners to the program was an indication that Samsung was moving away from the entry level focus it had previously to become a player in business applications with printers, Wallis said.
