3Com has expanded its latest partner training program into regional Australia, announcing an additional five seminars in its Partner3 initiative to help improve the partners' networking skills and improve sales.
The program is part of the vendor's university training platform to educate the channel about 3Com customer solutions and help resellers become more competitive in the market place, according to the company. Seminars will be conducted in Newcastle, Townsville, Adelaide, Geelong and Hobart between February 7 and 15, with an two additional training days on February 20 and 21 in New Zealand. The program is part of a worldwide initiative spanning 11 countries.
"3Com is 100 per cent channel driven, so our partners are front-line ambassadors for us," said 3Com marketing director for Australia and New Zealand Michelle Kinna. "It is a significant challenge for partners to keep up with the technology-based economy of today. Our resellers need to feel comfortable that they are recommending the best networking solutions for customer environments."
3Com will also collect feedback from its reseller channel, the company said.
