Optus has unveiled its pricing for the Apple iPhone 3G S.
Due to be released on June 26, on a 24-month contract, the handset is free on any Timeless plan. This encompasses the 16GB and 32GB versions.
With the telco’s prolific Cap plans, there is no free arrangements, with the 16GB costing $13 per month and 32GB for $19 per month on the 49 Cap. The price drops down to $3 and $10 respectively on the 79 Cap.
Twelve-month options are also available, with the handset priced significantly higher than 24-month contracts.
In terms of modem tethering, which allows users to turn the iPhone 3G S into a modem, Optus is charging $9.99 a month access fee. Users can then use the included data allowance on their plan to connect to the internet. The iPhone 3G Operating System 3.0 is required.
