Beonic doubles workforce

Retail information systems company Beonic Corporation will expand its distribution network, launching 24 new products and doubling its staff to 24 over the next six months.

The company plans to develop new markets within the retailing sector, building on the success of its Traffic Pro digital people counting systems, according to business development manager Mark McInerney. The system monitors customer traffic and behaviour for marketing and security purposes. Beoni has invested $2 million developing Traffic Pro and plans to spend another $4.8 million in new product development and marketing over the next three years.
