Lucida wins cloud provisioning for Master Brokers

Managed services solution gaining traction in the market place for new division within Lucida

Lucida Group’s newly formed division, LC9, has announced a cloud services partnership with Master Brokers.

LC9 will provide a cloud computing managed service based on 3Tera’s AppLogic cloud computing platform to the sales and merchandising broker, and was brought on following Master Broker’s expansion from one office to six and the desire to share applications across all sites.

Managing director of LC9, Craig Taylor, said the partnership fitted well with the target customers for the LC9 offering.

“The creation of LC9 has given us another solution for organisations that don’t want to be involved with the nuts and bolts of administration,” Taylor said.

“It’s a solution that is good for mid-tier SMEs that don’t necessarily want to build IT capabilities, and organisations growing or in a level of uncertainty of the direction in which the business is growing.”

Taylor said the LC9 offering had been seeing good traction in the market, with 10 individual customers on the books since its creation.

“LC9 gives us another solution to take to our customers – we’re not forgetting what we’ve done before, but having a service focus as well as a solutions offering opens more avenues for us," he said.

“We had the platform running under the Lucida brand previously, from the start of the year, however we decided to brand separately so as to not confuse the market.”

LC9 is bringing the AppLogic platform to customers through 3Tera’s local distributor, firstservis.
