Unified communications distributor and integrator, eVideo Communications, has become a new channel partner for LifeSize.
eVideo will have access to the vendor’s high-definition (HD) video conferencing, telepresence and networking products.
“We were chosen by LifeSize because of our expertise, our track record and our list of past clients,” eVideo director, Tom Morgan, said. “We are a big player in the video conferencing space and we have 30-40 reseller partners, who we train as well, around Australia working with us.”
In a press statement, LifeSize regional sales manager, Patrick Micallef, also noted eVideo’s customer service and support abilities and said the vendor was committed to providing its new partner with a fully encompassing channel program.
While the vendor’s offerings do compete with other products in eVideo’s line-up, Morgan said the differentiator is video quality.
“LifeSize products are totally HD and accommodates for a wider range of customers from entry level to high level,” he said. Through this relationship, Morgan expected to add $3-4 million to the company’s revenue by 2010.
LifeSize picked up local distributor, IPL Communications, in late January.
