UPS maker, Upsonic Power, has inked a distribution deal with Digital World Warehouse. The agreement came about after the Victoria-based vendor approached the distributor for an affiliation opportunity.
“Upsonic Power was aware of our partnership with another vendor, Cyber Snipe,” Digital World Warehouse managing director, Eden Fridman, said. “Through that, it came knocking on our door a couple of weeks ago.”
While the company had been sub-distributing APC UPS units, Fridman said all attention will now be focus on Upsonic Power’s entire line-up.
“At this point we are still dealing with APC’s UPS products,” he said. “But now that we have become the official distributor for Upsonic, we are going to do it full-time.”
With around 2000 reseller partners, Fridman saw potential for system builders and maintenance computer repair dealers to take advantage of the distributor’s new product line. He also revealed two retail chains are keen on Upsonic Power UPS units.
“One retailer who is interested is Dick Smith, but I cannot disclose the second one,” he said.
Digital World Warehouse is expecting a $2.5-3 million revenue boost within the next 12-months as a result of this new alliance.
