Mail and document management service provider, Pitney Bowes, has appointed Philip Wardley as director of services.
In the role, Wardley will be involved with maintenance and warranty support including installing and upgrading solutions.
“My other responsibilities are to look at what value-added services we can offer our clients in the form of professional services such as training, consulting and ways we can work with customers more effectively,” he said.
Wardley said the role had been vacant for six months before he took the job, but could not disclose who his predecessor is.
He landed the role through professional networking website, LinkedIn.
“I put my details on the website and called up Pitney Bowes’ managing director, Tony Simonsen,” Wardley said. “I was formerly based in Hong Kong so I enquired about employment opportunities in Australia.”
He formerly headed up Equant’s consultancy services in Asia-Pacific. Prior to his appointment at Pitney Bowes, he worked for four years abroad at Orange Business Services.
