Axway calls for integrator partners

Company aims to expand its local channel presence by recruiting system integrators

After merging with Tumbleweed almost a year ago, business software vendor, Axway, is looking to recruit system integrators to its Australian channel.

Tumbleweed Asia-Pacific vice-president, Stree Naidu, said the company is interested in integrators with knowledge in business processes for its Axway product line.

“Both company’s products require different skill sets,” he said. “We want to bring on partners that are integration focused rather than ‘box pusher’ resellers.”

Naidu said a partner accreditation program is yet to be put in place but is in the process of refinement.

“We’re still putting together the accreditation system and it will revolve around a partner's understanding of services required to implement solutions for a large agency or multinational company,” he said.

With no Australian partners for the Axway range, the company is on the hunt for at least one partner in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth.

“We are currently engaged in discussions with several candidates but nothing has been set in stone,” Naidu said.
