Software vendor, Acresso, is looking to broaden its Australian presence with improved channel engagement.
The enterprise management software vendor has appointed Brett Ison as its general manager Asia-Pacific, bringing its local presence to three.
Ison will be responsible for managing the company’s sales teams and customer relationships across the region, highlighting plans to improve the vendor’s channel engagement as part of this goal.
“We’re looking to expand our second tier partner base, in partnership with our distributor, MicroWay,” he said. “We have 10-20 partners currently, but we’re looking to get them accredited and signed up to our partner program, which we haven’t got anyone on yet.”
The partner program is a global initiative for Acresso, and features three levels – Registered, Premier, and Elite. Higher levels give partners better access to Acresso marketing and deeper knowledge of the solutions.
Ison said the training programs were available through MicroWay, but the vendor was also planning on working with training partners to provide increased levels of service.
“From an overall perspective, Acresso has not invested as much in the Asia-Pacific region as it would have liked,” Ison said. “To be successful at selling the kinds of solutions that we offer we need to build our presence in the channel, and my appointment has been made to facilitate that.”
