This 46-inch large-format display is intended for video wall solutions, where its narrow bezel allows for a screen-to-screen distance between two neighbouring MultiSync X461UN displays of 7.3mm. NEC claims it offers a near 500 per cent improvement on its previous 34mm MultiSync 20 Series displays. The X461UN can be deployed in video wall matrices of up to 10 x 10, creating a total surface area of about 645 square feet. The small transition gap between displays ensures a homogenous picture across the matrix, and it is ideal for digital signage in lobbies, broadcasting, public venues, retail areas, transportation applications and fi nancial environments, according to the vendor. The screen offers a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and 1500 cd/m2 brightness. Through the optional SpectraView colour calibration kit, tiled X461UN displays will have identical colour settings, ensuring colour uniformity and fidelity across multiple screens. Additionally, NEC’s new Network Control and Communication feature enables the highest level of remote display management and includes such features as automatic email notification, alerting users to instances of overheating and lamp failure.
