AOC has revealed two new LCD monitors aimed at the SoHo market.
The new monitors are based on a photo-frame type design that incorporates a gloss piano black front, a sculptured back casing and comes in 18.5-inch (F19) and 21.5-inch (F22) display sizes.
Featuring AOC's patent-pending single-post twist and tilt stand, it offers angle adjustment without a conventional base and gives users the ability customise the stand through spinning the tail to lengthen or shorten it.
Both models enable true full screen HD, removing distortion or annoying black bars that are common in lower quality screens, the vendor claimed.
AOC has also changed the Navi ring and multi-colour menus, creating a new on-screen menu display with clear colour icons.
With Super High Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR) technology, users can also increase the contrast between black and white over 30000:1. It also contains five colour enhancement settings: Full enhance, natural skin, green field, sky blue and auto detect.
The new series is also aimed at the environmentally conscious and offers an eco mode function that includes five display settings: Text, Internet, game, movie and sport. AOC was also recently been awarded the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) Silver award.
The F19 costs $209 and the F22, $259. The products are distributed by Compucon and TodayTech.
