Hostworks hits $45 million

Big new clients and the benefits of managed services in tough economic times helping the company to achieve solid growth

Hostworks' upward growth has hit a new milestone, with the managed services provider achieving $45 million on its order book.

Wins from clients such as SA Health, Jetstar, and GraysOnline has resulted in over $25 million added to the books after its acquisition by Broadcast Australia in March, 2008.

Hostworks sales and marketing director, Klaus Bartosch, said its ability to help reduce organisations’ costs was helping it gain traction, and that it was seeing a slight uplift in the market.

“We’re seeing the first signs of the market getting more confident, and we’re very positive about the future for us,” he said.

“The only vertical that is a bit quiet for us at the moment is finance, but healthcare and public sectors, as well as e-commerce and online media and entertainment are doing very well for us.”

Bartosch expected the growth to continue for Hostworks, with a growing pipeline and an increase in demand for its services.
