Bernard Yee appointed Vice-President of AT&T Asia Pacific

AT&T* today announced that Bernard Yee has been appointed as the new head of AT&T’s sales in Asia Pacific. Yee will be responsible for managing the direct sales and channel sales teams with a focus on business growth across the region.

<p>Yee, who was most recently regional managing director for AT&amp;T Asia Pacific, brings to the role extensive experience from a variety of business development and management positions in the AT&amp;T Asia Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong, Yee will report to Greg Wieboldt, Senior Vice President-Global Client Group, AT&amp;T Global Services.</p>

I am looking forward to leading our team of seasoned professionals to bring the best services to meet our customers’ needs in the region</p>

Customers in Asia Pacific are already set to benefit from our recently announced planned US$1 billion investment in our global network in 2009.”</p>
<p>Before his most recent assignment as regional managing director, Yee held various management positions within AT&amp;T including regional managing director of consumer markets division of AT&amp;T Asia Pacific and head of marketing and product management. Yee first joined AT&amp;T in 1994 with the Internet and Online Services Division of AT&amp;T Asia Pacific.</p>
<p>Born in Hong Kong, Yee grew up and received his education in New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland and is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.</p>
