Kodak has launched a three-in-one device which combines digital video with an MP3 player and still digital camera.
The Kodak mc3 operates on both Macintosh and Windows platforms and is aimed at Internet-savvy consumers. The device comes with a USB dock for downloading pictures and movies, and bundled software which self-loads when the mc3 is placed in the dock. It features an LCD screen and stores files on a 16MB CompactFlash memory card. This will capture around five minutes of video or 160 still images at VGA resolution.
Optional accessories such as memory cards, carry holster and rechargeable batteries are also available. The device is available now and retails for $449.
