This projector features a Hybrid Filter that reduces the amount of required maintenance and cleaning. With the lamp door on the top and the filter cover on the side, parts replacement can be done even when the projector is mounted. The lens can be adjusted manually to shift the position of the image and can be moved 9cm to the left and right, and 50cm up and down on a 70-inch screen. The CPSX635 uses inorganic LCD panels, which feature a high resistance to light. This translates into a longer operational life and better picture quality during the life of the projector, the vendor claims. Features include wide SXGA resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The projector comes with Hitachi’s Projector Management Software, which gives users the ability to control, diagnose and manage a single or group of projector units, as well as transfer images over a LAN to individual or multiple projectors. These images are stored in the projector’s memory and can be displayed using the “My Image” feature.
