Software developer sets up a new website for better navigation

Design software developer, Autodesk, has unveiled a new website, Partner Portal, as a replacement for its One Team Web (OTW) gateway.

Launched on April 10, the new website aims to aid partners in delivering Autodesk’s design engineering software.

Autodesk Australia channel marketing manager, Annette Brooks, said the shift from OTW to Partner Portal was a result of customer feedback.

“What we heard from resellers was that it was difficult to locate their marketing tools from OTW,” she said. “So finding the right information was time consuming because OTW has essentially become this conglomeration of too much content that wasn’t necessarily relevant to them."

The new portal acts as a gateway to most Autodesk partner-facing corporate websites. It also features a quick search and access to sales and marketing tools, personalisation features for users to customise access and an events publisher to post events directly onto the website.

Brooks indicated more content will be added to Partner Portal further down the track.

“We have got a future roadmap for the portal,” she said. “The next step would be consolidating the log in system to make it easier to access the site.”

One Team Web (OTW) users can use their old username and password to access the Partner Portal.

Autodesk has around 30 partners nationally, including AEC Systems, Express Data and Scholastic.
