Leading Solutions has appointed Rick McWhinnie to the role of state sales manager.
McWhinnie replaces Melina Musumeci, who left the company to join 24/7 Distribution as its NSW and ACT territory manager.
He previously held a similar role with ComputerCorp.
Leading national sales manager, Garreth Bohanes, said McWhinnie’s immediate focus is to look at the overall business strategy for the NSW branch and ensure the company was in the strongest position going into the next financial year. McWhinnie will report directly to Bohanes.
“He’s working closely with the account managers and visiting all of our key clients, and making sure we are providing levels of service that we expect,” Bohanes said. “And also to try and identify broader areas of our offerings they may not be taking advantage of or are aware of.
“His overall objective is to make sure that Leading Solutions becomes one of the most highly regarded and strongest players in the reseller/ systems integration space in NSW.”
Bohanes maintained the company continued to experience strong organic growth with new client acquisitions across all states.
“Our focus right now is to make sure we continue that and hit all of our targets for the last quarter of the financial year,” he said.
