<p>MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - April 21, 2005 - VERITAS Software Corporation (Nasdaq: VRTS) today announced that it has been positioned in the "leaders" quadrant in Gartner’s latest J2EE Application Server Management, 2005 Magic Quadrant report. According to Gartner, Leaders are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.</p>
