Sony has updated its entry level VAIO K-Series with two replacement models. The K74 and K76P will replace the K64 and K66P, respectively. They feature several upgrades but still include a CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive, memory stick slot, video import via i.LINK and three USB 2.0 connectors. The K74 now has a 2.80GHz Pentium processor, a 15-inch LCD screen and a 40GB hard drive. The more expensive K76P is more mobile friendly with a mobile Pentium 4 3.06 GHz processor, 802.11b/g WiFi, DVD+/-RW drive, 60GB hard-drive and a 15-inch XGA clear bright display.
