Interwoven Expands Local Team to Help Drive Enterprise Content Management Message

<p>Four new appointments enhance Interwoven’s ANZ sales and channel teams</p>
<p>Sydney, Australia – 1st April 2004 – Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq:IWOV) the world's next-generation enterprise content management (ECM) company, today announced the appointment of four new team members to assist Interwoven in expanding the sales efforts and relationships with partners and customers in Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>Announcing the new appointments, managing director for Interwoven, Richard Collins, commented: “Further to the completion of the iManage merger four months ago, we have been building on our individual successes by delivering to our customers and partners today the best integrated, end-to-end content lifecycle management solutions. We have seen many new contracts added within this period that now require a larger support team in place making us even more capable of providing the best support and service to our partners and customers.”</p>
<p>Collins continued: “We are delighted to welcome on board: Andrew Antal as Alliance and Marketing Director, John Boles as Asia-Pacific Sales Manager for Legal and Professional Services Market, Peter Elford as Pre-Sales Manager for NSW, Victoria and Canberra and Kim McCarthy as Head of Tele-sales. We are confident that both Interwoven and our customers will benefit from their wealth of knowledge and experience. This investment demonstrates our commitment to the region and ensures that we maintain and broaden our strong position in the Australia and New Zealand marketplace.”</p>
<p>Andrew Antal comes to Interwoven with over 18 years experience in the IT industry, having previously worked for multinational companies including IBM and Autodesk. Prior to his appointment at Interwoven, Antal worked for Computer Associates in a senior capacity within their storage division and before that, at VERITAS Inc as the Marketing Director for Foundation/SAN product line in Mountain View California.</p>
<p>Antal will work closely with and support Interwoven’s business partners in order to ensure that Interwoven continues to deliver flexible and cost effective solutions.</p>
<p>Antal holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the University of Technology in Sydney.</p>
<p>John Boles brings to Interwoven extensive experience in application sales, including over 15 years in enterprise software sales roles at such companies as Symix, SAP, Tibco and webMethods. His sales achievements include selling into key accounts in Manufacturing, Logistics, Utilities, Retail and Finance &amp; Banking Accounts throughout Asia Pacific and Southeast USA.</p>
<p>Boles’ key responsibility at Interwoven will be to strengthen sales in the key Legal market and to develop and drive corporate sales strategies for penetrating new vertical markets across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.</p>
<p>Peter Elford joins Interwoven with over 15 years experience in pre-sales support in the IT industry across the government, banking and finance, insurance, utilities and manufacturing sectors. Prior to Interwoven, Elford spent seven years at FileNet, where he supported direct and partner lead sales campaigns across document management, business process management and web content management. Before that, Elford spent eight years at Olivetti providing pre-sales support for office information and banking systems.</p>
<p>Elford’s key responsibilities at Interwoven will be in a pre-sales capacity supporting the customer sets across NSW, Victoria and Canberra.</p>
<p>Kim McCarthy has over seven years experience as an Analyst programmer, latterly specialising in SAP. McCarthy has also held positions at Dimension Data, Supply Chain Consulting and George Weston Foods in Australia and prior to that, worked for Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline and NEC in the UK.</p>
<p>McCarthy’s prime focus will be on supporting marketing campaigns across all product lines as well as supporting the Account Executives.</p>
