ACCC eyes Telstra

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has announced that it is monitoring Telstra's provisioning and faults management operations to ensure wholesale customers are getting an adequate level of service. Despite several partner-friendly initiatives Telstra has introduced in recent months, the ACCC continues to receive complaints. The regulatory body is concerned that customers of Telstra's wholesale partners are getting less adequate service than retail customers, due to the telco's shortfalls in informing wholesale partners of network faults and its inefficiency in rectifying them.
