Apparently, e-mail turned 30 this year! Yes, that great communication medium that Ray Tomlinson developed on the US Department of Defence's network has abandoned its youthful ways, and is settling down on the short road to a mid-life crisis.
We would like to say a big cheerio to our friend e-mail, who most of us only discovered in its wild, raging twenties. So raise your glasses, and drink a toast to all the crude attachments, urban myths and the odd constructive bit of communication we get out of our 30-year-old friend. Ka-chink!
