<p>Experienced Corporate Telco Sales Executive Joins Telecorp Limited to Launch GOtalk VoIP.</p>
<p>MEDIA RELEASE : Sydney Tuesday September 20: Mr. Steve Picton, CEO of Telecorp Limited today announced the appointment of Ian Adams as Group General Manager Sales &amp; Customer Marketing for the fast growing, full service, telecommunications company.</p>
<p>Mr. Adams joins Telecorp as the company plans to launch its VoIP range, GOtalk Broadband Voice, onto the Australian retail consumer market.</p>
<p>Mr Adams, has worked in the ICT sales and marketing area since arriving in Australia from the UK in 1986. His management experience includes periods as corporate sales manager at AAPT, several years at Optus managing strategic corporate accounts and Lexmark International where he was General Manager Alliances Australia and NZ.</p>
<p>"Ian is a highly experienced successful ICT executive I have known since my British Telecom days. His newly created position will encompass all divisions within the Telecorp group but will be particularly helpful as we are about to launch a national consumer campaign for GOtalk Broadband Voice." Mr. Picton said.</p>
<p>Telecorp Limited, a publicly unlisted venture, was formed in March 2000 and currently has a turnover of over $13 million per month. Since its inception Telecorp has grown at a rate exceeding 30% a year into a full service communications company with over 300 employees. It has built a multimillion dollar growth business based on calling card services (both prepaid and postpaid), complete voice services (including local calls and line rental), postpaid mobile services, Internet services (both Broadband and dialup), teleconferencing and messaging.</p>
<p>Telecorp’s Cardcall division is a market leader in pre paid, fixed wire, Internet and mobile with sales of more than 300,000 new pre paid phone cards worth $10 million every month via 30,000 retailers including Woolworths, 7-eleven, and Newsagents. As a discrete division it has achieved a growth factor of over 50% for each of the last three years. The company launched CardCall in New Zealand in March 2004 and now holds approximately 20% of the market.)</p>
<p>The Telecorp Corporate &amp; Wholesale division includes customers such as IBM, Parramatta City Council, Travelex and channel partners such as Telstra, Optus, AAPT and People Telecom.</p>
<p>GOtalk Pty Ltd - a rapidly growing communications company targeting residential and business markets. The wide range of services include complete voice (including local calls and line rental), Internet (both dialup, Broadband and Broadband voice), calling card and mobile services all on a single invoice. Launched in March 2003 GOtalk generates revenues of $3.5 million plus a month as a full service consumer and SME business with more than 40,000 customers. Customers will be able to bundle all GOtalk services with the recently launched GOtalk Broadband Voice (VoIP) – and consolidate their cost savings into one invoice.</p>
<p>CardCall Pty Ltd - a market leader in prepaid phonecards with a national distribution network of over 30,000 retailers. In addition, CardCall is an electronic provider on all major electronic terminals. CardCall is also a Preferred Distributor of Optus Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile.</p>
<p>Global Card Services - Telecorp's virtual phonecard operator in which we specialise in offering both postpaid and prepaid calling cards. Global Card Services was acquired from Cable and Wireless by Telecorp in 2000 and is now one of the most established providers of prepaid telecommunications services in the Region. Global Card Services has been supplying both the corporate and consumer world with calling cards since 1998.</p>
