Three new channel partners have signed on with Software AG to supply and integrate the vendor's middleware and development tools in Australia.
The formation of agreements with Biko Technologies, Divstrat and PowerServe has bolstered Software AG's Business Alliance Programme. Under the program, the companies will receive marketing support, lead generation and training, and will be eligible to partake in co-branded seminars, according to Gary Edmonds, delivery services manager at Software AG.
Software AG also plays the part of broker for its resellers, bringing together partners with different specialist skills for specific projects, said Edmonds.
In return, the companies will extend Software AG's geographic and vertical market reach for its database product, Tamino, and its middleware integration tool, EntireX. The products are XML-based -- EntireX is able to link numerous applications, while Tamino provides a database store that can plug into legacy applications and present them in an XML environment, said Edmonds.
Biko Technologies is a software integration company that targets hospitality, retail and gaming vertical markets, while Divstrat and PowerServe develop their own software tools and applications.
