SurfControl enlists the channel

Global Web and e-mail filtering company SurfControl has launched a campaign to expand its channel sales and partnerships, with indirect sales totalling 36 per cent of total sales, compared to 27 per cent for the same quarter last year.

SurfControl reported an annual rise of 51 per cent in revenues at the end of its first full year of EBITDA profitability. Strong end-of-year sales helped it to an overall annual profit of $US1.69 million, against a loss of $US13.89 million for the previous full 13-month fiscal year.

"The increased demand for SurfControl's software - even in the midst of challenging market conditions - demonstrates the resilience and quality of our products and the success of our sales strategy," said CEO Steve Purdham.
