This 26-inch glossy-bezel widescreen LCD monitor is designed to deliver widescreen, high resolution and high quality images. It is aimed at graphic designers, professional photographers, high-definition content enthusiasts and vertical markets, such as hospitals, where full HD resolution (1920 x 1200) is required. The large 26-inch widescreen display allows for a comfortable multi-tasking experience, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency, the vendor claims. The screen supports 16.7 million colours and features the Dynamic Colour Boost system (DCB) to create bright and vibrant colours. Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR) technology enhances the perceived contrast ratio to 10,000:1, while a response time of 3ms enables smooth displays even with fast moving objects such as video games. The screen has one analogue and two digital connections (DVI and HDMI) plus two 3W speakers. The HDMI connection allows users to transfer uncompressed digital audio and video for higher image quality. The 619Fh is also easy to connect to other devices, features an Eco mode and comes with a three-year parts and labour warranty.

The CP-WX11000 is the mid-level offering in Hitachi’s new projector series, and features a dust resistant cooling system. The vendor claims the air filter will last for over 10,000 maintenance-free hours, regardless of ambient conditions. The CP-WX11000 has long-life components including inorganic LCD panels and polariser filters as well as an iris-based high contrast system that delivers a contrast ratio of 2500:1. According to Hitachi, the high quality scaler chip, 12-bit digital gamma and 10-bit signal processor – as used on high-end home theatre models – ensures superb colour reproduction. To cope with the variety of installation requirements of the professional market, the projector features a selection of optional bayonet lenses for different projection distances and lens shifts. The unit can deliver a 200-inch screen from as short a throw distance as 2.1m and allows for space saving rear projection as well as flexible installation in any situation. The CP-WX11000 can project screen sizes of between 40-inch and 700-inch.
