Rockwell FirstPoint Contact has signed its second channel partner in as many months, with ASX-listed Sirius Telecommunications committing to the roll out of Rockwell's contact centre software in Australia. Traditionally a large enterprise-focused telecommunications integrator, Sirius comes on board to resell Rockwell's small-to-medium enterprise contact centre product, FirstPoint Business Edition, across all vertical markets. According to research firm Callcentres.net, of the 4000 call centres in Australia, only 38 per cent have more than 50 seats, meaning the majority of call centres are in the SME range. Sirius joins Tennyson Networks as a Rockwell partner on the channel sales force front. Under the terms of the partnership, Sirius will appoint a dedicated salesperson to sell FirstPoint Business Edition.
