Onesource joins Nortel Networks nPower Channel Partner Program, carves clear path to new markets

<p>Large ground-force to deliver latest networking technologies to enterprises of all sizes</p>
<p>AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Onesource, a major provider and integrator of office communications technology to New Zealand businesses, has signed up to Nortel Networks* [NYSE/TSX: NT] nPower Channel Partner Program. Under the agreement, Onesource becomes a reseller of Nortel Networks voice and data networking technologies, offering businesses access to communications platforms built for the applications of the future.</p>
<p>This agreement marks the first foray in data networking for Onesource, which already provides Internet and telephone systems and services to New Zealand companies. The company plans to spearhead its involvement with Nortel Networks with a campaign promoting the Business Communications Manager* (BCM), a cost-effective converged telephone and data networking system that supports advanced communication applications such as Internet Protocol (IP) Telephony.</p>
<p>“The agreement with Nortel Networks will allow us to include technology from a leading innovator in voice and data networking in our offerings to our large customer base,” said Steve Spain, general manager of marketing, Onesource. “The immediate benefit for us lies in the ability to meet the growing demand for complete IP Telephony solutions that can generate cost-savings, enhance productivity and improve workforce mobility for our customers.</p>
<p>“As our team becomes familiar with other Nortel Networks products, we will follow up the BCM campaign with core data networking offerings later in the year,” said Spain. “The agreement with Nortel Networks will give us a sharper competitive edge in the telecommunications and networking market.”</p>
