Axway Appoints new Australian Manager

Axway, the leading global provider of multi-enterprise solutions and infrastructure, today announced the appointment of John Lee as Regional Manager – Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.

<p>Sydney 18 February 2009 - Axway, the leading global provider of multi-enterprise solutions and infrastructure, today announced the appointment of John Lee as Regional Manager – Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. Lee, who has a strong history with the company in Asia, has relocated to Sydney from Singapore and will be responsible for both sales and channel partner development programs. His daily charter will include market development and ongoing sales of the Axway Synchrony solution suite. John will also be launching the Axway partner channel model within Australia for the first time.</p>
<p>“John is an exciting addition to our local team and will add great depth on Axway capabilities for our sales channel and enterprise clients,” outlined Mr Stree Naidu, Axway Tumbleweed’s Regional Vice President Asia Pacific and Japan.</p>
<p>Axway has commenced its recruitment drive for reseller and system integrator partners and has additionally launched its training programs within its new Sydney-based Sales and Training Office for existing Tumbleweed partners.</p>
<p>“Over the next twelve months John will focus on working closely with our existing Tumbleweed and new Axway channel partners to ensure that they are able to sell and support the Axway Synchrony solution suite as well. This is key to our global integration program,” continued Naidu.</p>
<p>“With the introduction of a new product set as part of our merger with Axway we believe that we can further grow our sales channel here in what is a key market for the company.”</p>
<p>John joins the Australian team from his most recent role as Area Manager, Axway, Asia South. Prior to this he held a variety of roles in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Business Process Management (BPM) and Financial Supply Chain Integration both within Axway and Reuters Consulting.</p>
<p>John has a Degree in Computer Engineering, and Masters Degree in Applied Finance from University of Adelaide, Australia.</p>
