Avaya integrator, GlobalConnect, has partnered with Australian application developer, CVT Global, to address customer contact centre requirements.
GlobalConnect managing director, Pushkar Taneja, said it allowed the communications integrator to offer CVT’s unified messaging, call accounting packages, exchange integration and quality monitoring offerings.
“We came across them about a year ago and we’ve done some projects with them already,” he said. “Since we were seeing a lot more activity with their solutions that we presented to our customers, I felt it was a good idea to have a formalised relationship between the two organisations.”
Taneja said the company would focus on providing CVT's call accounting, unified messaging and recorder portfolio. CVT is part of the Avaya Developer Connection program, which means it has designed certified products.
GlobalConnect is also looking to expand its presence into Queensland by mid-year.
“It depends on how things are progressing and looking at the current environment things are changing on a daily basis,” Taneja said. “We’ll reassess everything closer towards the middle of the year, and if it all goes to plan, we’ll look at expanding into that area.”
Late last year, GlobalConnect announced its expansion into Wa. It also has operations in NSW, Victoria and SA.
GlobalConnect Australia is owned by Avaya GlobalConnect and its customers range from healthcare to finance and mining.
